The Lord's Prayer

Matthew 6: 9-13

9 After this manner therefore pray ye:

Our Father who art in heaven, hollowed would be thy name. 

10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread, 

12 And forgive us our debt as we forgive our debtors 

13  And lead us not into temptation,  but deliver us from evil.  

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. 

Amen

In Matthew and Luke we see Jesus teaching His disciples how to pray which has been referenced as the model prayer that we are to use when we pray. There are many versions of this prayer however, what is stated above is what you will find in the King James bible. When you pray the bible says there shouldn't be vain repetitions rather be honest and real about any failures and the need for God. Remember God already knows what you have need of before you even ask but he needs to hear your need for him from you. And be real with God tell him/say exactly what you need.

Whenever you feel lost or without purpose pray this prayer.  Psalm 145:18 says The Lord is near to all who call on him in truth.  While,  Philippians 4: 6-7 says do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. When you pray examine your heart and use these words while seeking God for his help in your situation. Remember you do not have to be an eloquent speaker to pray, rather be YOU. 

The Battle is Not Yours Psalm 118:14

The battle is not yours, it's the Lord's. When ever you feel like giving up or "throwing in the towel" again remember that your strength comes from the Lord. When you are down and out, feel overwhelmed and weak look up. Your  help and your strength comes from the Lord. I pray that God will give the grit and the passion to push through your situation. Do not give up, God has amazing things in store for you, so he has to see you through what ever you need. He will hold you up while he fights your battle, he will encourage your heart and bring you out. No weapon formed against you shall prosper Isaiah 54:17.  Your are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus who loves you. Romans 8:31-39
